Ken Thompson, former CEO of Dalex Finance, has praised the Mahama administration for delivering what he describes as a clear, data-driven, and realistic budget. Speaking on Face to Face on Channel One TV on Tuesday, Thompson emphasized the budget's clarity compared to previous ones.
“For the first time in nine years, they have read a budget that I can understand and which is based on data,” he stated.
A Shift from Rhetoric to Reality
Thompson criticized previous budgets for being self-congratulatory and failing to address real economic issues.
“Previous budgets were full of praise for the government… They talked about things the government wanted to do, but they never dealt with the real issues,” he added.
His comments have sparked widespread conversation about the importance of transparent and practical economic policies in addressing Ghana’s financial challenges.
