According to eyewitness accounts and Citi News reports, the altercation began when a group of students questioned whether the weapon Amoabeng had was real or functional. In an apparent attempt to prove its legitimacy, he fired the gun—injuring two peers in the process.
Tragically, one of the victims sustained a serious head wound and was rushed to Kwadaso Hospital before being referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital due to the critical nature of her injuries.
