The truck, with registration number GC 7410-11, was apprehended at Gomoa Awombrew in the Gomoa Central District, located in the Central Region. Authorities became suspicious when the vehicle broke down near Awombrew while traveling through Agona Swedru, prompting a thorough inspection of the truck’s contents.
Upon inspection, police discovered a load of electrical cables, raising concerns that they might be part of the missing ECG containers. The driver and three passengers aboard the truck were immediately arrested and are now in police custody.
