Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, is in good health, according to an update from Eric Adjei, a former deputy spokesperson for her 2024 election campaign.

This update comes after initial reports suggested that she had fallen ill and was receiving medical care at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

Professor Opoku-Agyemang reportedly fell ill on Friday, March 28, 2025, after work and was admitted to UGMC for medical attention.

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, stated that medical experts had recommended further treatment abroad.

However, in the latest update, Eric Adjei reassured the public that the vice president was in good health.



"Our mother, the vice president, is in good health, thanks to God's grace. I've received updates from the team, and Mum is doing very well by His grace," he wrote on Facebook.
