The injured individual is currently receiving treatment at the Police Hospital in Accra after a tree fell on his vehicle in front of the Kotobabi Police Station.
- Condition: The victim sustained injuries but is reported to be in stable condition.
- Cause: The incident is attributed to the strong winds during the heavy rains.
A&C Mall Suffers Major Damage
The solar panel car park shed at A&C Mall in East Legon collapsed during the storm, damaging over 50 vehicles.

- Vehicles sustained broken windscreens, dents, and other forms of destruction.
- Cleanup and recovery efforts are currently underway.
Accra College of Education Hit by Flooding
The storm also caused considerable damage at Accra College of Education, where structures, including parts of a newly built washroom facility, were affected.
- Flooded Dormitories:
- Several dormitories were flooded, with students losing belongings.
- Some lecturers' bungalows also had their roofs ripped off.
- SRC President's Statement:
“We had some of the rain entering the dormitories, causing a lot of inconvenience to the students. Some roofs on the lecturers’ bungalows were also taken off,” said Eric Kwasi Azong, SRC President of the college.

- Carpenters are on-site working to repair damaged roofs.

Despite the widespread destruction, authorities confirmed that no fatalities were recorded.
